300 game

by lennyjr on Oct.31, 2008, under Hgh Scores

Todd Agee on his Tuesday nite league in Longwood shot his first 300 game of the season using his Roto-Grip Neptune that he purchased me at Deltona Lanes ProShop.

I drilled it with the pin about 4″ from his pap and put the cg about 1/4″ off the center of his grip to the right.  Ending weights are 1/4oz finger and 1/4oz side.

Storm’s New Release

by lennyjr on Oct.28, 2008, under Uncategorized, coming soon

Storm is release 2 new bowling balls this November 17, 2008.

They are Storm Hy-Roadwhich  is the latest release in the Thunder™ Series of balls.  Storm Hy-Road is the perfect complement to the 2007 solid ball of the year; the Storm T-Road Solid.

That’s right. We’ve merged together the Storm T-Road Solid and Storm T-Road Pearland created the new Storm Hy-Road - the Ultimate hybrid. This was accomplished by blending the R2S™ coverstock at 50% Solid and 50% Pearl and then wrapping it around the road-tested Fe Technology core.

And the new Storm Virtual Gravity  is the latest endeavor using the well received R2X™ coverstock and the high performance Shape Lock HD™ (High Density) Core.

If you are looking for more hook then you should get the Storm Virtual Gravity.  It is one of the most aggressive ball i have ever seen.

Brunswick BVP Copperhead

by lennyjr on Oct.24, 2008, under reviews

I recently drilled a Brunswick Copperhead for a customer. Pin below the fingers in the middle and cg directly under the pin (1-2″ pin). The reaction that he got was clean thru the heads, good roll in the mid lane and a controllable arc on the back end (box finish).

I polished it for him and the reaction he got was about 2′ more skid and more of a snap on the back end.

I would recommend this ball to any looking for a performance ball at mid performance price.
