900 Global Bank
Posted on July 20th, 2010 at 12:50 PM by lennyjr

The 900 Global Bank is going to be available July 23, 2010. It is a great ball to use on medium to heavy lane conditions and you can Bank on that.

900 Global has designed a ball that will take your game to the next level... and you can take that to the BANK!

The Bank features our newest core design Self Righting Core (SRC). The SRC is both homogeneous in nature and also mono-monostatic. The unique core shape contains only one stable point. Unlike all other cores in the industry the SRC core will always move and twist to its stable position regardless of how or where it is placed. It will right it self!

Our testing indicated that when in rotation the core shape easily moves without resistance or hesitation in seeking the stable spot helping give the bank greater ease in transitioning through the phases of ball motion. Other cores on the market that have multiple stable, or flat spots, must expend additional energy to move off of that position and thus not efficiently and effectively optimize energy transfer to yield maximum ball reaction. The SRC, once in motion, does not need to expend additional energy to seek its sole stable position and therefore creates optimum ball reaction for the bowler.

An additional benefit of the SRC is the value of the Moment Arm. The moment arm measures the likelihood of a force to rotate an object about any given axis. The larger the moment arm the greater amount of loping and imbalance forces the core will have during rotation. This effect leads to increased energy retention. The SRC has the greatest moment arm available. The combination of having the greatest moment arm and only one stable point creating the least resistance gives The Bank a unique and powerful motion. The 900 Global Bank is currently selling for $146.99 on bowlingball.com and rates a 210.5 on the bowlingball.com Perfect Scale™.

Storm is releasing 2 new balls on July 21, 2010 in their Hot Line the Storm 2 Fast and the . They will succeed the Storm Fast and the Storm Furious. The Storm 2 Fast will use the same cover R2S Pearl as the Storm Fast but will have the the New N.O.S Core which will make this ball rev up more give it more motion on the back end and the Storm 2 Furious will feature the same cover R2S Solid as the Storm Furious but will also have the New N.O.S. Core which combine with the solid cover will give the Storm 2 Furious more mid lane reaction.

Get ready to rev up to the next gear with the 2 Fast!

The addition of the N.O.S. Core gives the 2 Fast an extra boost to annihilate the pins!

The Storm 2 Fast is currently selling for $104.99on bowlingball.com and rates a 185.4 on the bowlingball.com Perfect Scale™.

The Brunswick Revolver is going to be released on July 12, 2010. You can pre-order yours now thru bowlingball.com and be the first to have one in your bowling center.

It's time to shoot the lights out with the Brunswick Revolver!

ConneXion Grip Coverstock
The Revolver utilizes ConneXion Grip an improved version of ConneXion coverstock.
ConneXion Grip incorporates a new formula to increase the footprint size of the coverstock which improves mid-lane and back-end traction.

Jack Core
The Jack core was designed as a low RG symmetric core with a high differential. The low RG engages in the mid-lane assisting in ball motion, and the high differential increases track flare potential giving the ball more opportunity to grip the back-end while using standard layouts and interchangeable thumb sleeves.

Ball Motion
With its 4,000 Siaair Micro Pad finish, the Revolver will provide good length with a strong continuous back-end reaction that matches up on medium to oily lane conditions for a wide range of bowling styles.

Reaction Setup
The Revolver can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for symmetric bowling balls.

Lightweight Engineering
The unique core shape of each Brunswick ball is used for weights from 14 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consistent ball reaction characteristics across this weight range. The same drilling instructions can be used for 12 and 13-pound balls. This is because Brunswick uses a generic core shape with an RG differential that is close enough to the 14-16 pound shape.

The Brunswick Revolver is currently selling for $119.99 on bowlingball.com and rates a 207.9 on the bowlingball.com Perfect Scale™.

The Brunswick C (System)4.5 will give more length than the Brunswick C (System)3.5 and should give a smooth reaction on the back-end

CFT v4.5 Coverstock

CFT v4.5 is the next progression in Chemical Friction Technology. The CFT v4.5 coverstock has a lower friction factor than CFT 3.5 which improves length through the heads and mid-lane without
sacrificing the quick response and improved traction on the back-end.

I-Block Symmetric Core

The new I-Block Symmetric core was created by modifying the original asymmetric I-Block core (which has a symmetric base and an asymmetric flip block) to have an asymmetric base. By creating an asymmetric base with an asymmetric flip block on perpendicular axes the two asymmetries cancel each other out making the core shape symmetric. The core shape was also thinned and stretched to increase the RG min while maintaining the overall differential.

Ball Motion

With its Rough Buff finish, the C(System) v4.5 will offer a lower friction factor with similar response time to friction alternative to the C(System) 3.5. The new C(System) v4.5 is best used on medium to oily lane conditions when you need to use a breakpoint further down the lane with a quick response motion to increase pin carry.

Reaction Setup

The C(System) v4.5 can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for symmetric bowling balls.

Roto Grip is release a new ball on June 9, 2010 it the Roto Grip Grenade. The Roto Grip Grenade is a urethane coverstock which is great to use on dry lane conditions because it will give you a smoother transition on the backend and won’t be to jumpy. So if you bowl a lot of tournament then you should have a urethane ball in your ball and the Roto Grip Grenade is great one to get.
