The Winter/Fall Leagues are getting ready to start in August. You may need to check out your bowling equipment to make sure that it still fits or needs to be cleaned before the leagues starts. You may need new bowling shoes like the Dexter Men's SST 8 or maybe a new ball like the Storm Virtual Energy to start the new season with. So come on in the my Proshop Deltona Lanes Proshop.

Well the winter leagues are now coming to a close.  This would be a great time to work on different parts of your game and get your equipment ready by getting it resurfaced, change out your Turbo 2-N-1 Grips Quad Finger Inserts ( if you have them), maybe up grading your shoes to Dexter Men's SST 8 or getting a new ball like Roto Grip Rogue Cell.

Bowling Shoes

What bowling shoes do you wear? Do you wear the basic universal shoes ( like Dexter Men's Ricky II Black or Dexter Women's Raquel III White/Blue or performance shoe ( like 3G Bowling Tour Ultra Black Men's Right Handed or Dexter Men's SST 8 .

The difference between the basic bowling shoes and the performance bowling shoes is, the basic shoes are made with slide soles on both shoes.  Performance bowling shoes have a slide sole on the left shoe and a rubber sole on the right shoe, assuming you are right handed (they are reversed if you are left handed).

The advantage to having performance bowling shoes is that you have the ability on most of them to change the sole to adapt to different approaches (wood or synthetic approaches). So you can adjust your slide weather you want more or less slide depending on your style of bowling.  It also give better footing and leverage at the foul line because of the rubber sole on the push off shoe.

So if you are serious about bowling you should definitely consider getting yourself a pair of performance shoes.
